As President of Allied Risk Solutions, Lauren Gregory is responsible for helping clients achieve their business goals through advanced risk management solutions that leverage Allied North America’s in-house resources and industry-leading knowledge base.
Lauren brings both unparalleled risk management experience and a proven track record in captive management and wrap-up programs to this new division. Prior to joining Allied as a Senior Vice President, she spent 22 years with New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority and was named director of MTA Risk & Insurance Management in 1997. With responsibility for all risk management and insurance functions throughout all MTA operating agencies, Lauren was instrumental in:

Forming the first captive insurance company in New York State, for which she was appointed president in 2003. |

Utilizing Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIPs) for nearly $8 billion of MTA capital construction work, including project-specific programs such as NYCTA’s 2nd Avenue subway and LIRR’s East Side access projects. |
Her professional expertise was recognized in April 2002 when she received the annual Risk Manager of the Year Honor Roll Award given by the Business Insurance and the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS).
Lauren holds a law degree from Touro Law Center and was admitted to the New York State Bar in July 2001. She also holds an MBA in Risk Management from the College of Insurance, as well as an Associate of Risk Management (ARM) professional designation.
