David Marino’s unsurpassed insurance expertise and real-world construction industry experience make him an outstanding leader at Allied North America, where he serves as President of our flagship New York office.

In this role, he is responsible for ensuring our staff of 100-plus professionals provides strategic insurance and surety solutions – and superior service – to the office’s growing base of construction firms from throughout the tri-state area. Under David’s stewardship, Allied has:

	Experienced consistent 15% annual business growth, building our client base, extending our geographic reach and entering into new relationships with leading carriers.
	Strengthened our client relationships, maintaining a stellar retention rating in excess of 95%.

David was promoted to President in 2002, following four years as a Senior Vice President responsible for new business development and for designing and implementing complex wrap-up programs for leading regional and national contractors. He joined the Allied Group of Companies in 1993 via our Atlantic Star Intermediaries where he spent five years in various management positions, following two years as an underwriter of construction risks and energy with AIG.

A student of the insurance business, David graduated cum laude from the College of Insurance, where he majored in Property and Liability Insurance. He is a member of Executive Advisory Board of the Subcontractors Trade Association, the CPCU Society and the Construction Financial Management Association.
