Ira Schwartz brings nearly two decades of experience to his role as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Allied North America. A pioneer in the design and delivery of emerging information and communications technology solutions in the financial services and insurance industries, Ira is a forward-thinking, dynamic leader who leverages his unique insights and expertise to produce solid results in uncertain market conditions.
Known for his proven track record of building and motivating world-class, high-performance teams to new levels of achievement, Ira has been instrumental in Allied’s ability to:
• Maximize our corporate potential through innovative changes to our business processes resulting in improved cost containment, client-focused product development and outstanding service delivery.
• Adopt the most advanced, industry-leading agency management system to streamline processes and strengthen our infrastructure to accommodate our coast-to-coast expansion.
• Set the standard for customer-driven technology in our industry and transform how such systems are perceived and used within the insurance brokerage arena.
Prior to joining Allied in 2006, Ira held a similar position at the NIA Group, a role he assumed after several years’ building a successful business founded to give control of personal data back to the individual. He previously served in senior management positions with financial services leaders CitiStreet and Merrill Lynch. Before that, he was an insurance industry executive, working in high-level positions at AIG and Beneficial Insurance. He began his career at Empire Mutual in 1978. Ira holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics
