59th STREET BRIDGE Location: New York, New York
When L&L Painting was awarded the $167 million dollar 59th Street Bridge contract, they turned to Allied North America who painted a very secure picture.
As the nation’s largest privately held insurance and surety broker specializing in the construction industry, Allied North America was there with ultimate protection for L&L Painting Company, Inc., the largest union painting contractor in the U.S. Allied was instrumental in securing the bond for L&L Painting Company, Inc., and providing them with risk management services, from beginning to end.
The project involves covering the entire 8 million square feet of bridge and ramps with 216,000 gallons of paint. It’s the largest painting job ever awarded, and the first time
in nearly a hundred years this landmark bridge is getting a complete new face-lift.

When Skanska began construction of the $531,000,000 Cooper River Bridge, Allied North America was there to provide groundbreaking protection for North America’s longest cable stay span, right from the start.

INTERSTATE 75 Location: Georgia
Widening more than 9 miles of Georgia’s Interstate 75 takes over $82 million dollars, the expertise of The Scruggs Company and support from the insurance professionals at Allied North America.
As one of the country’s largest insurance and surety brokers specializing in the construction industry, Allied North America goes the distance to protect The Scruggs Company’s ambitious highway reconstruction project for the Georgia Department of Transportation. Allied is providing both commercial business insurance and surety services.
The project consists of widening, paving and reconstructing 9.079-miles of Interstate 75, a highly traveled, major corridor through Southern Georgia, and includes the installation of temporary protective barrier walls. It’s a project that needs a first class contract surety and insurance team, and Allied has it covered.
